The BBKIT-28 fits around my ClassicFlame 28 inch fireplace insert perfectly. It is sturdy and looks great. I have the insert in my fireplace and am able to seal the rim around the fireplace to reduce drafts from the chimney. I have the power cord down through the fireplace ash pit to a power outlet in the basement. I had to build a small platform to raise the fireplace insert to match the edge of the frame to sit in the fireplace (as mentioned in the BBKIT-28 instructions). This product lives up to its promise and is as advertised.

Nice finishing product intended for framing in a fireplace in a stud wall not what I was expecting. However I am keeping it to frame out the fireplace in my fireplace fire box I'll make it work and it will look fantastic!
