My elderly mother wanted to replace her pellet stove with one that was easier to use and did not require lifting (the pellets) or ash removal. This stove is perfect. It was simple to install and has a realistic flame. I would recommend this stove to anyone.

I inherited a mantel and my wife wanted to use it in our add on family room. I wanted a realistic looking fireplace that I could build the look of the room around. I started with a cheaper version from a big box store and it looked exactly like that. So I splurged and am I glad I did. The fire is realistic in appearance. The size was perfect for the mantel opening. The adjustable heat and flame settings make this a very versatile fireplace. Even though this is shown as a wall mount unit and the installation kit included is for in the wall mount, it was very easy to switch to a mantle and hearth installation. Once I had the hearth built and the mantle in place, the fireplace slid in without any fuss and the trim cap was easy to add. It was the easy part of the project. Everyone that has seen the remodeled room compliments the fireplace and can't believe how realistic it looks. The only problem now is that my wife wants to add additional fireplaces throughout the home.
